Module 2
Materials and Mindset
We’ll go through the materials you’ll need, including alcohol markers, sketchbooks, and additional tools. I’ll also talk about mindset - how to approach drawing in a way that reduces pressure and helps you actually enjoy the process. You’ll complete simple, low-pressure exercises to get comfortable with your tools and start your sketchbook without overthinking.
Module 3
Color Theory
This module covers the essentials of color in a practical, easy-to-understand way - from basic terms to color pairings, light, values, and contrast. You’ll learn how to mix and use colors intentionally, without getting overwhelmed by theory. Exercises will help you explore palettes and build confidence in your color choices.
Module 4
Character Foundations
Here we focus on the building blocks of character drawing - using references, drawing from memory, and constructing faces. You’ll learn about proportions, different face types, expressions, and how to stylize your characters while keeping them believable. We’ll also cover hair, clothing, and how to keep your drawings loose and sketchbook-friendly.

Planning Your Character
